Hello everyone
Thanks to our wonderful snow day, we will have to postpone our Winter Collage Concert to next Thursday, Dec 17th.
Middle School Collage concert will start at 6:30pm (please meet in the choir room by 6pm) and the JH/HS Collage concert will start at 7:30pm (please meet in the choir room by 7pm).

Concert this Thursday!!
Our Fall Choral Concert will be this Thursday October 22nd at 7pm in the Coloma High School auditorium. All five choirs will be performing at this event: 6th Grade Choir, 7th Grade Choir, JH Women's Ensemble, High School Concert Choir and Varsity Singers.
Students will need to arrive at the High School by 6:15pm in order to check in and receive credit.
All Middle School and Junior High students will need to come dressed in their black pants, dark shoes, dark socks and a t-shirt or tank top to go under the school provided top.
High School women will need to wear their concert dresses with black closed toe shoes.
High School men will need to wear their black pants, black shirt, dark socks, black shoes and green long tie.

Choir Shirt Time!
If you haven't received your Choir T-shirt order form please see Mrs. Selvidge in the HS choir room. The logos and colors are the same from last year but it might be time for you to upgrade from a T-shirt to a hooded sweatshirt!
T-Shirt prices start at $13, Long Sleeve T's start at $17, Crewneck Sweatshirts start at $24, Hooded Sweatshirts start at $28, and Zip-up Hoodies start at $32

Varsity Singers Information Meeting
Hello everyone
This year we are bringing back Varsity Singers. This is a select after school vocal ensemble that will meet once a week for two hours. This group will focus mainly on vocal jazz music.
An informational meeting will be held on Weds. Sept. 9th at 6pm.
There are a few additional performance opportunities beyond the regular schedule and each student must be able to meet the following qualifications:
Students must successfully pass an audition to be accepted into Varsity Singers. Rehearsals will be held at least once a week, focused on learning the different styles of jazz. Students must hold at least a 2.0 GPA for the year. Any student, grade 9-12 is allowed to audition regardless if they are involved in Concert Choir.
The Audition:
Auditions will be held on Weds. Sept 16th. Students must sign-up on the list outside the choir room door. Each student must fill out the required audition form before they audition and sing one song that best and most comfortably represents your voice (this song does not have to be memorized but it is strongly preferred). Students may sing a cappella, provide their own piano accompaniment, or use an mp3 or CD track.
I look forward to hearing each of you audition!

Welcome to the new Coloma Choirs website. With this website you will be able to receive the latest information about everything having to do with Coloma Choirs without having the hassle of getting a ton of e-mails or killing a bunch of trees. At this time, I have an online survey that will help me keep your contact information current. Just fill out the survey and I'll have your information for the upcoming year.
